ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Robin was raised on a remote cow calf operation on the eastern Oregon High Desert. Her family’s herd of two-thousand head of mama cows lived and were managed on 100,000 acres of public domain. All animals and humans were moved home to the base ranch in the winter. The Ross family was guided by choosing right over wrong and were stewards of their land and of their stock.
Robin was blessed with raising and training great horses. She learned from accomplished horsemen and women, and she became a winner. In May of 1994, her young horse fell at a competition. Robin stayed astride; however, the whiplash and fall caused her head to hit the hard ground with force. Her skull cracked like a watermelon with bruising and structural damage above and below the dura shell lining of her skull. Because of this injury, an emergency craniotomy was performed. On the day of the accident, the neurosurgeon in charge gave Robin a 5% chance of survival with little hope that she would return to any satisfactory degree of cognizance.
With the grace of God, Robin and her support group proved the medical prognosis wrong. Her caregivers provided the stimulus to cause her to press forward to recovery. The divine intervention of the Lord has kept her winning, and He called her to follow His will.
Robin has peace in her life and is sharing her hope filled testimony of recovery through Jesus Christ - concentrating to give credit and proven suggestions to the caregivers. The caregivers hold the magic wand and the power that provide the correct stimulus to cause the injured person to work to improve and reconnect with their life’s passion. God is the greatest physician. Robin has peace being a servant of the Lord. Anything she accomplishes is for His glory.
